Notice：

Regular Class: 15 hours of instruction per week, including 10 hours of language class and 5 hours of Multi-task language training courses.
Regular class students must take supplementary classes for an extra 5 hours a week.
Single month programs are only available for 1-on-1 classes.
Proof of enrollment is not issued to students enrolled in 1 on 1 classes with a duration that is less than 3 months or if class hours are below 10 hours a week.
MTC also offers mini classes (2-4 students) for students who wish to form a class of their own. Applicants who are interested in forming one class should contact MTC for further information.
Intensive B class is only for 14:20-17:10 PM period; Regular B class is only for 8:10-10:00 AM period.
Those students who are switched from Class B to Class A or from Regular to Intensive have to make up the difference of tuition before the end of class change period.

Mandatory Accidental Insurance Fee	approx. NTD276/3-month NTD184/2-month	Demanded by the Ministry of Education, it is compulsory for foreign students to be enrolled in a mandatory accidental insurance plan.The insurance covers medical expenses caused by an accident, and hospitalization caused by diseases or accidents. The insurance fee is not refundable. insurance coverage.

Refund requests must be submitted before the deadlines specified by the MTC Refund Policy. Please go to Office 709 to apply for refunds.
Average processing for refund requests are 7-10 working days.
Only tuition fees will be refunded. Insurance and miscellaneous fees will not be refunded.
Tuitions for culture classes or individual classes will not be refunded after payment.
Students who apply for full refund because of the visa application rejected have to submit the refund request with a proof of visa rejection on passport before the new term starts or within the first week of the new term.
The refund policy is not suitable for Special Entry (6 months) project. To comply with the Ministry of Education (MOE)'s policy, tuition will not be refunded once the special entry permit is issued.

Mandarin Training Center National Taiwan Normal University Refund Guidelines Approved by NTNU President, January 15, 2022

The Mandarin Training center (MTC), hereby, sets forth these Guidelines for MTC students applying for refunds.
These Guidelines are based on the Ministry of Education’s Guidelines for Colleges with Extension Education Programs.
90% of tuition will be refunded for applications submitted no later than the day before the semester starts. 50% will be refunded for applications submitted before 1/3 of the classes for the terms in which the student enrolled are completed. No refunds will be given for applications submitted after the classes for the terms in which the student enrolled are 1/3 completed.
Any student that is unable to attend classes due to: visa issues, pregnancy, major illness, death, application for university or research institute, or sudden accident, he/she must fill out and submit the refund application form within one week of the incident. The form must explain the reason of applying for refund, include the student card, and the original tuition receipt. The refund submission must be approved by the director of the center before the student can receive the refund. Students can apply for the full refund before the first day of class begins or if they did not attend any of the courses during that term.
Any student that signs up for an intensive course, but due to a lack of a suitable intensive course, switches to a regular class during the class change period can receive the full amount of the difference in the tuition fees of the two courses. Refund requests are to be submitted when changing classes.
Tuition for culture classes will not be refunded once classes begin.
If the MTC cannot provide a suitable class because too few students sign up for a particular class or because all appropriate classes are already filled, students can either apply for a full refund (to be requested in the class change period) or switch the tuition fees for another term within a year. Tuition can only be deferred once.
Students cannot defer a 3 month term to a 2 month session.
**Note: once students have applied for deferment, students are only able to apply for a 50%refund if needed.
Any student that wishes to apply for a refund but whose situation does not fall under any of the aforementioned categories is to submit to the director of the MTC a request in writing explaining his/her reason for applying for the refund. If approved, a refund will be made.
These Guidelines and any amendments there to are valid upon approval by the president of NUNU.
